I would like to “like” this post…
Thanks… And by all means, head over to Sara’s post, and do it!
I sure did… I commented.
p.s. don’t know why that comment went through twice. Meh.
I would like to “like” this.
Consider it done!
We support you with love and strength from the Sunshine state..
Have an orange on us. And thank you!
I’ll have 4 (one per family member)
You’re right. Sara is much more articulate than you.
I might suggest that this is evidence she is also more magnificent….
Yes on the first point.
No on the latter.
Le Truly Magnificent Clown
A like from me as well. And the sincerest wishes for good luck and strength your way.
You’re just so fucking awesome. And I forbid you to contradict me.
Okay. I’ll take this one. But only because you swore…
I commented over there, but here’s some affection for you as well. As I told your wife, your post recently about the WP’s little girlfriend at school, and the note, made me cry. I wish you were my dad, you magnificent jester you. I know this will pass, although it’s going to be a Pita while it lasts…especially with the move. >;<
I also know you two are strong enough to weather the drizzly-spitty-nasty storm of her/their criticism and jealousy. And that you'll shelter the kids while you do. Because that's what you do. You give them fun, and silliness, and support, and love…and none of that fits in a stupid pill.
w/Love and wishes,
You’re a very kind human being, a fun blogger to read, and a great support to both Sara and I. We’ll get through this, I know. Thank you so very much.
This is awful. Does the ‘Radio Silence’ apply here as well? Best of luck in this titanic struggle. As cynical as I often pretend to be, I really do believe that good people get what they deserve. Your love for your boy is obvious to even the most casual reader. Hang in there, and don’t let her make you get ugly. If you can stay cool, you can choose your own responses, and not simply react to the machinations of your ex.
My thoughts & prayers, man.+
I’m glad I know you as a blogger and a Facebooker. I don’t say this easily either, but I’m happy to have you as a friend, too.
As I said on your wife’s post, good luck. Hopefully ‘the system’ won’t fuck you two over. Peace.
Keep the faith, these things have a way of working out for the best…
See? You ARE magnificent!
As I said on Sara’s post, prayers, well-wishes, good vibes, hope, faith, love, support of any kind to all of you, Mr. Clown (although of course on her post I said ‘Sara’ in lieu of ‘Mr. Clown’).
Le Clown (in lieu of Sara) thanks you once again for your kind words.
A thought: It would be interesting to find out how many of the kids who “only” get B- in school are the ones who are more interested in creative, imaginative things and in life instead of in whatever some (possibly) boring teacher is trying to say. And I read once that most of the very successful college graduates got B’s in school, NOT A’s. Take THAT, Horace Greeley! Or whomever.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a B- nor with a C+. I am not saying kids need to strive for mediocrity, but kids must strive to achieve the best they can, on a personal level. And should also be encouraged where their strengths lie too…
Good luck with all of this. Hope you’re done with it soon, and back as a happy family.Shall miss your magnificent posts.
